ROCKING THE BOAT DVD FINAL VERSION DELAYED

After months of waiting for our Dolby 5.1 soundtrack, we have made the difficult and costly decision to take the mix elsewhere. While nobody has criticized the stereo mixes, the deal was always to finish the project in Dolby Surround. Making movies is an expensive, difficult, and sometimes frustrating process. Our roller coaster ride included beating out this year's Oscar winner at one festival and out box-officing new films from William Friedken and Sidney Lumet at a couple others. We closed our festival season sharing the red carpet with the likes of Martin Sheen and good friend Matt Clark at the Lone Star International Film Festival. Cuttting to the chase, we are putting the mix in new hands. We are out of inventory on the Pre-Release version. We are working to place the movie on PBS and other channels. I am hoping to have the standard definition Dolby 5.1 version ready by June 1 and Blu-ray by January 1, 2009. In the meantime we are also moving to get a Stephen Bruton project finished. Stay tuned. It took 34 years for great documentary "Festival Express" to get completed. We started production on RTB in July, 2005. Seems like yesterday.

Rocking the Boat: A Musical Conversation and Journey

A DELBERT DUET WILL DO IT EVERY TIME

British country artist Lucie Diamond joins a star-studded list of female singers including Bonnie Raitt, Tanya Tucker and Martina McBride who have all sung duets with multi Grammy winner Delbert McClinton. Delbert added his world class vocal skills to Lucie's debut album "I Wanna Be Rich" at the end of May in a top Nashville recording studio, on track number 7 - the rocking "Closed Curtain." Having previously only dueted with one European artist before - Norwegian Rita Eriksen in 1992 - Lucie is the first non American to sing with Delbert in more than 15 years, and the only British artist to ever duet with him. Visit luciediamond.com to hear an audio sample and pick up a copy of Lucie's CD.
